Manufactuers sizing guidelines are as follows
 
Medium will suit height 5"-5"8' with a hip size of 36"-42"
 
Large will suit height 5"6-5"10 with a hip size of 42"-48'
 
Extra large will suit the longer leg 5"8'-6" with a hip size of 48"-54"
 
These are very generous hold ups and will fit longer leg than stated if hip size is much smaller
